Everything was perfect. The host is really nice and helpful. The accommodation is close to the train-station and to the city-center. The room is clean and big + it has an amazing terrace too. We will definitely go back when we visit Roeselare again.

I would like to thank you for giving us a wonderful stay at the Green Room of your R&breakfast. you are an amazing host - enjoyed the suggestion for dinner (with the option of drinking different beers at the table) and breakfast that was so delicious and a homey set up. Love it! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a restful place to stay, who wants a special ambiance and a great interesting host to talk to! I would gibe this definitely a 5 star!

I stay here about once or twice a year before getting the Channel Tunnel back to England. I work for the UN in Holland and travel a lot, so I appreciate a good place when I find it! The owner, Lex , is the most caring host you could hope for, with a great sense of humour to boot. He's somehow managed to strike the balance between stylish spotlessness and warm homeliness. the beds are super comfy, the rooms large and clean, and the breakfast simply delicious, with (my favourite) fig bread and local cheese, etc. He even had Marmite for any strange English guests (like me) passing b! The only thing I would change why put an American twix by the bed when Belgium has the best chocolate in the world? For the rest, Roeselare city centre, with surprisingly good shops, is a 10-minute walk away, the beautiful Belgian countryside a 20 minute drive out of twon, and the Channel tunnel in Calais just over an hour away. All in all, high recommended!

Had a wonderful stay in this charming house! Rooms are beautiful and individual - old and new - tradition and contemporary nicely combined; Beautiful garden with deck chais. Breakfast is offering a vast choice with a strong focus on local products. Host always available providing useful information about the neighborhood and the area. Many interesting sites (Bruges, Belgian coast, Lille) to visit within half an hour drive or train ride.

We had a lovely stay in Roeselare. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the tour of your city was very interesting. Thank you Lex for. making us feel so comfortable and welcome! It is nice to know we can make ourselves at home in your living room

Three members of our organisation spent a very nice few days in this Bed & breeakfast. the rooms were superb, the breakfast was wonderful and the hospitality was exceptional.

Nothing we have experienced over the years, though prepared us for Lex' place: the impeccable taste, the artistic treasures, the generous hospitality. Dear lex, we loved staying with you and will definitely be back! Your rooms are exquisitely furnished (picked up a few styling ideas...) impeccably clean and extremely comfortable. As for breakfast, I had no idea there were that many different chocolate spreads on the market. We felt welcome. Well worth the trip, whatever else Roeselare might have to offer.

Arriving as a stranger, then leaving "home and a very dear friend " behind. Lex is a friend that doe not extra mile but extends his home and friendship for the entire journey. R&breakfast is truly a home from home, peaceful, combined with a host with an open heart of true friendship, laughter and care. The support & visit while in hospital (a viral infection) is not normal. Lex did this & maintained communication with my family. What host will do this. R&breakfast, is the place in Belgium.

Have just returned to Spain after spending 11 bights, , 12 days at the fabulous R&breakfast. I had surgery and I can tell you this is definitely the place to recuperate, quiet, discreet and oh such a kind and considerate host. We can not wait to return, Roeselare is ideal to stay when you want to go visiting, so central and after a day sightseeing returning to the fantastic comfort of the R&breakfast. I can not express how much my husband and I enjoyed our stay ... superb.

Kia Ora Lex. What a fabulous place your B&b is. The breakfast was delicious and very like the United Nations., every morning! I highly recommend R&breakfast to everyone - the accommodation is superb, the company intelligent and the feelling of having a home away from home strong. This was my first tome to visit Belgium and I found that Roeselare is the perfect place to stay to see the sights as it is central to every thing. lex is a fantastic host and I am grateful for this hospitality . Lex is a warm and witty host with a really lovely place.The bed was super -comfy , even for a part-time insomniac like me. And the feel of the plasce is well, very homely - but with a massive splash of style and minute attention to detail. Also enjoyed Roeselare, form the busy modern town center (5 minutes walk from the R&breakfast) to the beautiful mini-chateau surrounded by the misty lake. when can I come back

We planned to stay 2 but decied to extend our stay with three nights. This is thanks to the fabulous host and the lovely feeling at R&breakfast. Lex, I have no words to describe you, just to say what a wonderful man, a man full of joy and desire to help. Thank you for your hospitality. you made me feel at home. The motivation talks we had were fabulous. Every day was another, to learn new things. I enjoyed the breakfast, cheese, ham and the bread was so good. I recommend everyone to R&Breakfast to enjoy its hospitality and the mouth watering breakfast. The rooms are magnificent and with the ongoing renovation R&breakfast will be the talk of the town. Life's most wonderful surprises come wrapped in the most unassuming of packages. Seen from the street, R&breakfast reveals none of the delicious treasures awaiting its guests inside (though let's not forget the Christmas 2022 'bear facelift'). It is when one ventures beyond the threshold that an entirely different world unfolds, as if one finds oneself suddenly transported into a Guillermo del Toro universe: a universe ruled by an incomparably gracious host, offering rooms that induce a delirium of luxury, a breakfast table that calls for a Vogue shoot, and an attention to detail that simply beggars the imagination.
