Roeselare, a city in motion

Roeselare counts over 60.000 citizens and is located in the very heart of the province West-Flanders, so ideally situated to discover all sites and sounds of our province with its 64 km coastline. 

This town has a rich past, of famous authors, poets, priests, cyclists, directors and many others, who contributed to our Flemish history.

Roeselare has many things to offer. In the frist place we think of the cultural center “De Spil”, or the Museum Alfons Blomme with its temporary expositions, the museum of cyclism, de belltower museum, Klokketorenmuseum, all of them within walking distance of perhaps attend a concert of event in Schiervelde Hall and the Fabriekspand. Soon Roeselare, will host the MIUMMM, the Flemish House of Food!

Do you prefer green and calm, than a walk in the parks is to be recommended, for example in the Geitepark, Klein Bassin Ronde Kom, the castle Sterrebos or the Kleiputten. Of visit one of the beautiful churches or the market square with its bars and restaurants.
